+++DSME and GABLER deepen their existing COOPERATION
With an official signing ceremony, a strategic cooperation with the Korean shipyard DSME was sealed. The strategic partnership agreement was signed by the Managing Director of GABLER, Mr David Schirm and the VP naval & special ship business division of DSME, Mr Do Seung Phil, especially with the physical presence of Mr Kim Youn Joo, DSME delegation to GABLER during a digital signing ceremony.
GABLER Maschinenbau has supplied most of the Korean submarine fleet with its hoistable masts and components. In addition to the recently signed supply contract for the new submarines, the current agreement leads to even closer cooperation between the two companies in the service sector. In particular, this involves spare parts deliveries and refit measures as well as technical consultancy services for the existing submarine fleet. “DSME will be our exclusive service partner in Korea for the effective lifetime maintenance of the KSS-I (209) and KSS-II (214) submarines by sourcing spare parts, materials and technical support exclusively from GABLER – this can absolutely be recorded as a very successful and further milestone,” reports the responsible Area Sales Manager Jadong Kim with pride, without whom this step would not be possible.
계약 조인식을 통해 대한민국의 양대 조선소인 대우조선해양과 Gabler사의 전략적 협력관계가 성립되었습니다. 온라인 서명식을 통해 독일 Gabler사 대표 David Schirm과 대우조선해양 특수선 사업본부 도승필사업관리 담당임원은전략적 파트너쉽 계약서를 서명하였으며, 대우조선해양 방문 대표단 (김윤주 책임) 의 독일 방문 중 이루어져 더욱 의미가 있었습니다.
독일 Gabler 사는 대부분의 대한민국 잠수함에 당사의 양강마스트와 구성품을 공급하였습니다. 또한 최근 맺어진 잠수함 신조 장비 계약에 이어, 전략적 파트너쉽 계약서 체결로 향후 한국내 서비스 시장에서도 양사의 긴밀한 협력관계가 형성될 것입니다. 특히, 이는 운용중인 잠수함에 대한 자재공급 및 창정비 (성능개량) 뿐만 아니라 기술 (컨설팅) 지원과 관련이 있습니다.
“대우조선해양은 당사의 독점적 서비스 파트너로서 앞으로 한국내 운용중인 장보고급 (209급), 손원일급 (214급) 잠수함의 효율적인 수명주기 지원을 위해 당사에서 독점적으로 자재 및 기술지원을 받게 될 것입니다. 이는 양사에 모두 매우 성공적이고 한 걸음더 진전된 업적이라고 할수 있습니다“ 라고 이번 협력관계의 진전을 위해 업무를 주도한 아시아 태평양 지역 영업 총괄 담당 (Area Sales Manager) 인 김자동 매니져가 전략적 파트너쉽에 대해 자부심을 가지고 말했습니다.
