We are leaders in hoistable mast systems, submarine power and control components, externally deployed communication buoys and torpedo-tube launched surveillance and strike platforms.

COMPANY FOUNDATION
Prof. Ulrich Gabler, a renowned diesel-powered submarine designer, founds Gabler Maschinenbau.
1964
MAST NO.1 FOR U1 CLASS 205
First mast from Gabler installed on the U1 Class 205, a single-hull, diesel-electric submarine developed by Germany.

SETTING UP SHOP
Also in this year, we moved to new headquarters at Niels-Bohr-Ring 5. This is still our location.
1970s
EQUIPPING CLASS 206/209
Class 206 submarine designers select Gabler extendable masts. To this day, every Class 209 submarine built is equipped with our masts.
1980-90
A DECADE OF GROWTH
To meeting growing demand for our product portfolio, production halls and administration buildings were expanded.
2011
DELIVERY MILESTONE
23 navies around the world have now chosen Gabler technology to support their fleet operations. A new record.
2013
ACQUISITION BY POSSEHL GROUP
International investment company, established in 1847, adds Gabler to its portfolio of more than 200 companies.

900 AND COUNTING
Total deliveries of hoistable masts to navies and shipyards reach 900 units.

EXPANDING EAST
To meeting rising demand from the region, Gabler Korea is established in Busan, South Korea.

TTL USVS LAUNCHED
Gabler enters USV market with torpedo-tube launched platforms for ISR and strike missions.
