COMPANY FOUNDATION
Prof. Ulrich Gabler, a renowned diesel-powered submarine designer, founds Gabler Maschinenbau.

MAST NO.1 FOR U1 CLASS 205
First mast from Gabler installed on the U1 Class 205, a single-hull, diesel-electric submarine developed by Germany.

Also in this year, we moved to new headquarters at Niels-Bohr-Ring 5. This is still our location.

EQUIPPING CLASS 206/209
Class 206 submarine designers select Gabler extendable masts. To this day, every Class 209 submarine built is equipped with our masts.

International investment company, established in 1847, adds Gabler to its portfolio of more than 200 companies.
